This course will prepare clandestine lab investigators and responders to increase their survivability while operating in Level A chemical protective clothing and to employ specialized hot zone survival skills in the event of an emergency. Course content includes pre-mission planning to reduce the chance of a hot zone emergency, proactive safety measures to reduce the risks in the hot zone, and in-suit survival tactics for critical situations including: Suit failures, air emergencies, over-pressurizations, and water immersion.
