RadIQ takes responders through basic radiation principles to response tactics/decision making. This training covers Radiation Fundamentals, Units and Conversions, Safety Principles, Transportation Incidents, Radiological Response with Survey Techniques, and finishes with hands on practical exercises, designed to enhance the responder’s ability to use and deploy radiation detection instrumentation safely, efficiently and effectively.
