This course is designed for any responder (fire/EMS/police/HazMat Tech/EOD Tech) on the scene of a typical incident, that discovers explosive materials or products that are used to make explosives. Utilizing the information covered in our Above the Line/Below the Line and AdvancedIQ courses, along with a custom HME chart, students will learn to categorize explosive chemical families and the potential products produced when combining these chemicals together. The day concludes with practical exercises, using the system, charts, and detection, monitoring, and chemical identification (FTIR, Raman) equipment.
