This course provides DoD Explosives Ordnance Disposal Technicians with the knowledge and skills required to respond systematically and safely during Hazardous Materials and Weapons of Mass Destruction emergencies. This course may be customized to provide an emphasis on homemade explosives and precursors, toxic industrial chemicals, and toxic industrial materials, rocket fuels and oxidizers, chemical warfare agents, clandestine labs, or any combination of the above. This course meets or exceeds the standards for Hazardous Materials Specialist-Level training as outlined in 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.120 and DoDM 4715.29 – DoD Military Munitions Rule (MR) Implementation Procedures.
